Irving Toddy Art Week

In April 2014, the students and staff of Sacred Heart School were honored to work with Mr. Irving Toddy, a well-known Navajo painter. His visit was sponsored by Southwest Indian Foundation of Gallup. Mr. Toddy worked with the children for five full days in the school and helped them and helped them to display their work on the following Saturday at the Gallup Cultural Center. The children’s work was auctioned off and over $2,000 was raised for our school. Everyone learned a great deal, had a wonderful time, and hope to have the same opportunity and event next year. Thank you, Mr. Toddy and SWIF!
